Middle School* (Class of 2016, 2017, 2018)
National Elite (including RISERS/2016′s) – Travel teams with experience playing in tournaments. Majority of roster is rising 7th and 8th graders. Recently graduated 8th graders may participate in this level, although the event recommends that 2016′s play in the high school division as they are considered 9th graders this summer. THREE SPOTS REMAINING
Regional Select (no RISERS/2016′s) – Teams with little experience in tournaments. Majority of the roster is rising 6th and 7th graders. Recently graduated 8th graders may NOT participate in this division. SOLD OUT! Contact us HERE
RISERS – Players from the class of 2016 (8th graders who have graduated and are now in 9th grade) are recommended to play in the High School Division. This is done with national travel clubs in mind – per national tournament guidelines. All tournaments throughout the summer prohibit 9th graders (class of 2016) from playing down in the middle school division. Please take note of this as 2012 will be the final year that the SAT will allow 9th graders to play in the middle school division.

The Southern Alliance Tournament (SAT) is a tournament for like-minded southern travel club teams to come together and play in front of southern college coaches while preparing for the rigors of traveling to the northern tournaments, like the IWLCA Champions’ Cup and Capital Cup. The SAT will feature southern college coaches, full-sized women’s lacrosse fields, a great vendor’s row, great food, music, an SAT all-tournament team, and bring together some of the best club programs in the South, like LaxManiax, Team Florida Girls, Carolina Fever, HOTlanta Lacrosse, Cardinal Lax and Queen City Stars. The tournament will be as competitive as any ever held in the South!
The 2012 SAT is by invitation only. There are TWO ability levels for the teams with players in the classes of 2012-2015. In addition, there are two ability levels for teams with players in the classes of 2016-2018. Teams with members of the class of 2012 (graduating seniors) will be permitted with approval of the tournament director.
“RISING” Player Reminder – Class of 2016:
In following the guidelines utilized by all major recruiting lacrosse tournaments, current 8th graders (class of 2016) must play in the high school level of play. The SAT is in line with NORTHERN RECRUITING tournaments, which will have 2016’s playing at that level THIS SUMMER. Middle School games play US Lacrosse MODIFIED CHECKING rules. High School is standard US Lacrosse rules. 6th and 7th graders (2017-18-2019) are not permitted to play on High School Division teams.
